DISPLAY DAY & CHRISTMAS BBQ
 
To celebrate the end of our first full competition year, Rebound Sport Aerobics is holding a Display Day and Christmas BBQ on Saturday 17th December.
 
All athletes, parents, siblings and other family members are invited to join us at the Banyule Nets Stadium to watch some of the fantastic routines the athletes have been working on this term, and hear the annual awards ceremony!
 
Warm-up time for the athletes is 9:30am
Display Routines and Awards Ceremony will begin at 10am
 
A sausage sizzle BBQ will follow at 12pm at the Victoria Street Reserve in Greensborough, where we will swap our Kris Kringle's! BYO drinks.

As a reward for all of our member’s hard work during our busiest term of the year, and also in celebration of Rebound Sport Aerobics First Birthday… we’re having a movie dayat Village Cinemas – Doncaster Shoppingtown!
 
Athletes, family and friends are all invited to see the newly released…
3D MOVIE - THE SMURFS
 
We will meet in the Village Cinemas Foyer at Doncaster Shoppingtown at
1:30pm on Sunday the 25 of September. This should allow plenty of time for everyone to purchase their tickets and snacks.
The film is scheduled to start at 2:00pm.
 
It is not possible to pre-book tickets so please allow yourself plenty of time to park and purchase your ticket prior to the commencement of the film.
 
Following the movie, we will be having a short birthday celebration for
Rebound to mark this important milestone.
 
We hope you can all be there!
 
 
 
SPRING AEROCHALLENGE EVENT

Spectators: Adults $5 / Children $3 (5-16 years) / Pensioners $3 / Family $15 (2 + 3)
 
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO RESULTS, athletes can leave once they have competed.

VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS / TRIAL 2 EVENT
 
Date: Saturday 13th August 2011
 
Venue: Flemington Racecourse; The Event Centre

VOLUNTEER NEEDED: Rebound is required to supply a volunteer during Session 1 to assist with passing on judges score sheets to the tabulators. Please see Ellie or Lauren ASAP if you are able to help out with this task. Without parent/family involvement, competitions such as the Victorian Championships could not run.

END OF TERM 2 TRIVIA NIGHT & FUNDRAISER EVENT
 
Tickets are fast selling out to our end-of-term Trivia Night Fundraiser Event!
 
This year, we are raising funds to install full-length mirrors across one wall of the gym – something our athletes desperately need! Get involved by donating a prize that we can auction off on the night, or organize a table of 10 – there are already some great prizes up for auction and should make for a fun evening!

END OF TERM 1 POOL PARTY
 
To celebrate all the hard work your child has put into their Term 1 of Aerobics in 2011, Rebound Sport Aerobics is holding a Pool Party on Sunday 3 April.
 
Nicole and Darren Loidl have kindly offered to have this function at their residence, making it the perfect opportunity for all athletes, parents and siblings to meet and greet one another prior to the competition season getting underway! We especially would like to extend a warm invitation to all our new members and their families.
A late lunch / early dinner BBQ will be provided. BYO drinks.

BANYULE PARADE AND FESTIVAL - Sunday 27th March
 
Rebound Sport Aerobics has been kindly invited to take part in the Annual Kids ArtyFarty Banyule Parade and Festival on Sunday the 27 of March. This is a fantastic opportunity for our athletes and our club to establish itself in the local community and it is therefore an expectation that all Rebound athletes will take part in this event.
 
The event will kick-off with a parade down Burgundy Street, Heidelberg, ending at Sills Bend on the Yarra River where winners / prizes will be announced for the parade. After a short lunch-break, the day will then continue with Rebound Sport Aerobics athletes assisting and performing in three separate displays throughout the afternoon.
 
Where and When to meet: 9:15am Mount Street, Heidelberg
 
Where and When to be picked up: 4:15pm Warringal Park, Beverley Road, Heidelberg
 
What to wear:                  
 
 
  • Plain White Singlet (bra’s or crop-tops should also be white)
  • Black Leggings
  • Runners or old Competition Shoes
  • Hair Firmly Secured in a Bun
 
What to bring with you on the day:
  • A Drink Bottle
  • A Jumper in case of cold weather (Green or Purple)
  • Sunscreen in case of hot weather
  • A Packed Lunch or Money to Purchase Lunch with
 
PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: There will be no vehicle access to Mount Street. If you need to drop people off, enter Yarra Street from either Rosanna Road or Hawdon Street, proceed to Mount Street and turn left. There will be one lane open heading in the direction of Banksia Street. You can drop people off here.
